WHAT KIND OF SEAFOOD CAN I EAT?

When eating seafood, it is recommended to have 2 to 3 servings per week due to what they provide:

  • Protein

  • Healthy omega-3 fats (specifically DHA and EPA)

  • More vitamin B12 and vitamin D than any other type of food

  • Iron which is important for infants, young children, and women who are pregnant

  • Other minerals like selenium, zinc, and iodine
